In order to encourage learners to complete their assignments, there is now a dedicated “Assignments” section in My Edovo. Furthermore, Learners can clearly distinguish their assigned courses from other courses with a prominent "Assignment" label when assigned course cards appear in other sections of My Education/My Edovo.
In order to encourage Insight usage and support rehabilitative efforts of facility staff, we now provide a tool that allows Insight users to assign a course to one or more learners:
Assignment feature details:
Staff with the “Strategic” or “Executive” permission can find the course they want in the Content Directory, view Enrollments for that course, select the learners they want to assign, and click Assign Course to connect them with content that best suits their needs.
In the event that the wrong course was assigned or a more effective or appropriate course is identified, an Insight user can unassign a course from a learner to delete the old, undesired assignment. All unassignment activity is logged in the audit trail.
When a facility staff member creates an assignment, a notification is sent to the assigned learner(s) with a link to the course.
Staff can customize the assignment notification to ensure learners receive the appropriate context for the assignment.
Facility administrators can monitor assignment usage as well as who made the assignment in the Insight audit trail.

We’ve minimized use of the term “Inmate” in Insight. The term has been replaced with Learner or User for Insight features.
Course Enrollments and Assignment Filters:
You can now more easily see how many learners have not started, made progress, or completed a course on the Course Enrollments page (formerly “Course Diagnostic”) accessible from a given course in the Content Directory.
There is now a course “Status” filter that allows you identify learners who have or have not made progress in the selected course
The filter’s default selection maintains parity with the legacy “Course Diagnostic” behavior, displaying only “In Progress” and “Completed” courses until the user updates the filter selection
Insight users can access help and support resources directly through Insight. A pinned “?” button now appears in the bottom right corner of Insight. Clicking that icon opens Edovo’s Knowledge Base powered by Zoho Desk. From here, staff members can access articles and training materials to help them best use the tools that Edovo offers as well as sign up for any of our up and coming training sessions. You can also open a ticket with Edovo if you can't find what you're looking for.
