What is considered an "item"?

If you are thinking about which publishing tier may be the right option for you, it's helpful to think about how many items you'd like to upload and how often you'd like to upload them to the platform.  Edovo considers an item as:
  1. 1 course
  2. 1 interactive resource
  3. A learning resource
    1. 1 mp4 file = 1 item
    2. 1 mp3 file = 1 item
    3. 1 pdf file = 1 item
In the example below, you’ll see one item has been added to the Learning Resource spreadsheet. This is a single mp4 file.

Examples of Learning Resource Items

  1. If you have a podcast with 5 episodes, that’s 5 mp3 files. Meaning, you are uploading 5 items. (The example below shows 5 episodes of the podcast, Ear Hustle)

  1. If you have an audiobook divided into 6 mp3 files, you are uploading 6 items. (The example below shows the first 6 chapter of the audiobook Soberful)

  1. If you have a video series of 5 mp4 files, you are uploading 5 items. (The example below shows 5 videos in the Preparing for Success video series)

Examples of Courses and Interactive Resources as Items

  1. The MasterClass course below is made up of multiple lessons. Each lesson includes videos, multiple-choice questions, open-response questions, text, and PDFs. When publishing this course, it counts as 1 item.
