Data Privacy & Acceptable Use Policy

At Edovo, we are committed to protecting the privacy, security, and responsible use of data shared through our platform and partnerships.
This Policy explains how Edovo and our content partners handle data to ensure integrity, compliance, and respect for learners and facilities we serve.

  1. Data Privacy and Ownership

  • Learner data (activity, progress, and outcomes) belongs to Edovo and/or the correctional agencies that govern learner access. Partners receive only aggregated or anonymized information as needed to evaluate content performance.

  • Partner content remains the property of the Partner. Edovo processes and stores it only to deliver and support services under our agreements.

  • Edovo platform data (usage metrics, analytics, system performance) remains Edovo’s property and is used only to improve our services.

  1. Acceptable Use

Partners agree to:

  • Use data only for educational or operational purposes authorized by Edovo.

  • Protect all information shared through Edovo’s systems and never attempt to re-identify individual learners.

  • Not share, sell, or disclose any data obtained through Edovo to third parties without written approval.

  • Maintain security controls and notify Edovo promptly of any suspected data breach or misuse.

  1. Security and Compliance

Edovo and its partners maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards consistent with industry standards.

  1. Data Retention

Partners must retain data only as long as necessary to fulfill authorized purposes. Upon termination or request, Edovo data
must be securely deleted.
