Can I modify my course once it's published?

Can I modify my course once it's published?

We recommend having the course or interactive resource as close to completion as possible prior to publishing and in general, we do not recommend making changes to existing content after it's been published as this negatively impacts Learners' experience with the materials on the platform and causes disruptions to the data that's collected showing their progress and time spent engaging with content.

As the preview environment is a demo of the Learner's experience, many changes cannot be made to the content published here either. If you need to make substantial changes, you'll need to
  1. Duplicate the course
  2. Make your edits to the new version
  3. Publish the updated course as a new item following this process

  1. Small changes listed below can be made post-publication to courses and interactive resources
    1. Updating a pre-existing video, pdf, image, or audio file with a new file of the same type
    2. Modifying pre-existing text

  1. The following changes cannot be made to a published course or interactive resource
    1. Add or delete assignments, questions, pages, or multimedia items
    2. Change lesson order
