Step 3: Preview Your Course
To preview a course in our demo environment, please follow the steps below:
In the Course Editor, duplicate the course you'd like to preview and retitle it PREVIEW: Name of the Course.
- Check the course for any fields outlined in red as shown below. You’ll need to either complete or delete that page item. We will not be able to publish your content if there are pages items outlined in a red box.
- Email the title of your preview to content@edovo.org and we'll publish the course to a demo site for you to review it.
- Once you receive an email from us confirming your course is ready to be previewed, navigate to https://go.edovo.com/login. (This is a preview environment, so not all of the content and curriculum is present)
- For the "Learner ID"// "Facility ID", utilize the same email and password you used to log into the Edovo Editor
- From here, you'll be given a few options to log in. The only one to note is the "Ignore Lesson Requirements" option.
- If you wish to preview a course as an incarcerated learner would, uncheck the box next to "Ignore Lesson Requirements" to set it off.
- Turning this option off will require you (as a learner) to complete all content within a course’s lesson pages before you are able to continue to the next page or page item within the lesson
- If you wish to preview a course as an Admin, leave the box checked "on". This will allow you to skip around the course and not complete content in sequence.
- To find your course, click on Discovery and use the search button on the top right corner to search for your content’s title.
Step 4: Finalize Your Course for Publication
- After you’ve reviewed your course, make modifications to the original version.
- Once your course is ready for publication to all eligible facilities, email the full title of the course as it appears in the Edovo Editor to content@edovo.org.
- Our Content Team will publish the course and will send you a confirmation email once it’s available on the Edovo platform!
