We’ve rolled out a major upgrade to enhance how learner course engagement is tracked and reported—introducing "Time to Pass." This new metric provides agencies with more precise data for credit issuance and reporting, ensuring you have the most accurate insights into learner progress.
What’s New?
Accurate "Time to Pass" Tracking
A new metric, "Time to Pass," now records the exact time a learner spends completing a course with a passing score.
This ensures more reliable data for credit-issuing and reporting.
Enhanced Insight Reporting
"Time to Pass" is now viewable in Insight, our agency reporting too, on the Learner Engagement screen. You can find this data by expanding course rows in:
- Course Engagement: From the Insight dashboard, go to Learners, select the learner whose engagement you want to view, select the Coursework tab from their profile.
- Course Enrollments: From Insight dashboard, go to Content, select the piece of content you want to see engagement for, select Enrollments from the left-side menu.
- Learner Group Assignments: From the Insight Dashboard, click on the Learner Group you want to see engagement for, select Assignments from the left-side menu.
Prefer a quicker view? Add "Time to Pass" and "Completed Date" columns directly to these tables or export them via CSV.
Updated Learner Transcripts
- Passed Courses: Now display "Time to Pass" (time to complete with a passing score) and "Total Time" (overall engagement, including review time).
- Needs Improvement Courses: Show "Time So Far" (current engagement duration).
For a complete view of all learner engagement data, including courses and learning resources, use the Engagement Audit screen (accessible via the left-side navigation in Course Engagement).
This update gives you clearer insights into learner progress, helping your agency make more informed decisions.
