How do I upload my content as a learning resource?

Unlike coursesinteractive resources, or surveys which are uploaded through the Edovo Editor, learning resources are uploaded through a spreadsheet provided by our Content Team. To learn how to fill out the Learning Resource spreadsheet, watch the video or follow the steps below.

How to Fill Out the Learning Resource Spreadsheet Steps

Step 1: Receive Your Spreadsheet from Edovo

The Edovo Content Team will send you a customizable Learning Resource Spreadsheet as shown below.

      
In Column C, insert 1 link for each content item. 
  1. 1 video file (MP4) = 1 item
  2. 1 audio file (MP3)  = 1 item
  3. 1 pdf file (PDF) = 1 item
Examples of a single content item include:
  1. 1 episode of your podcast series
  2. 1 PDF document with your quarterly newsletter
  3. 1 PDF with your ebook
  4. 1 video
 

Warning
Make sure all files are publicly available and are set to Share/Editor Access/Downloadable 

Step 3: Add File Titles

In Column D, write a unique title for each content item. This is the title that Learners will see, so we encourage you to make it engaging and descriptive! 

Alert
Titles must be 128 characters or less. Longer titles will be automatically shortened.



In Column E, insert a link to an image/icon for each content item. This is the main image that Learners will see, so we encourage you to make it representative of your brand!
  1. Make sure all files are publicly available 
  2. Set  all files to Share/Editor Access/Downloadable

    1. Vimeo: How to send file links to download
    2. Google Drive: Share files from Google Drive (scroll down to Step 2 and select Share a file publicly
    3. Dropbox: How to share files and folders with Dropbox
  4. File Size: 500px X 500px
  5. File Type: png or jpeg
  1. Icon Option 1: Use the same icon / image for each item, as shown in the example below.

  1. Icon Option 2: Use a unique image for each item, as shown in the example below. If you choose to use a unique image for each item, please:
    1. Add all of the images to one folder in Google drive and share that folder with content@edovo.org. This will help make our upload process much faster and easier!
    2. Copy each link from the Google Drive folder and paste it in column D next to its corresponding title to ensure we match the correct image with each item.

Step 5: Email Edovo

Once you have all of the files ready for your publishing cadence (weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly), email the link to your spreadsheet to content@edovo.orgOur Team will download, review, organize, obtain facility permissions, and publish your materials to all eligible facilities. After this process has been completed, we will send you a confirmation email.
