How to Manage Services at the Learner level

Within Insight, Staff members will have the ability to restrict access to log into Edovo or Edovo related services at your facility within the Manage Services tab. 


Remember! Learners are eligible to create their own accounts within Edovo once they are in the ID feed that is provided to Edovo. If someone is released from the facility, they are automatically deactivated from the facility so there is no need to manually manage activations and deactivations. 

In order to manage a Learner's service, click into the "Learners" Tab within Insight. 



Once there, search and select the Learner in which you want to enable or disable the ability to use the Edovo platform. 



Once you have clicked into their profile, click the "Manage Services" button at the top of their profile: 



Two options will then be exposed to the Staff member (or more depending on the type of services you have with Edovo) to toggle on or off:

Edovo: Toggling off Edovo restricts their ability to log in to the Edovo platform at all. If a Learner is toggled off, they will not be able to log in until a staff member toggles their Edovo service back on. 
Edovo Learn: Toggling off Edovo Learn restricts their ability to access any learning content. The Learner will not be able to access the Discovery portion of Edovo and will not be able to navigate through coursework within Learning Paths. The Learner will be able to access their profile, certificates and view their transcript and any other applications accessible at your facility. 


Note: if a Learner's account is manually restricted by the above action, the learner will not be able to log in again until the action is manually reversed by staff. If the Learner is released and returns to the same Facility ID, their profile will still reflect the manual restriction.
