Edovo is dedicated to delivering quality, engaging and high demand programming to all incarcerated individuals in the nation. Edovo has always and will always maintain that quality programming should be available to everyone incarcerated at no cost to the Learner and with no barriers to access. And for that reason, we have focused our over-a-decade of experience and dedication to building a free platform with over 25,000 hours (that's enough to provide a learner 8 hours of content 7 days a week for 8 years!) of life-changing content. It's because of this expansive library that Edovo is the number one application used for correctional programming intended to serve a facilities entire population.
At Edovo we are dedicated to providing programming to the incarcerated population in the following categories:
- Supports Academic Growth: Providing courses in literacy, GED, HiSET, Secondary education, college level and other foundational subjects to enhance educational attainment.
- Prepares for Reentry and Personal Success: Offering vocational skills, life skills, and soft skills to equip individuals with the job readiness and resilience needed for a successful transition.
- Promotes Healing and Resilience: Including mindfulness, recovery, mental health resources, and self-improvement programs to foster well-being and emotional stability.
- Instills Hope and Inspiration: Sharing stories from formerly incarcerated individuals, along with spiritual and religious content, to support personal transformation, inner peace, and a sense of purpose
The content we deliver falls into four main types:
Courses: An interactive resource with a focused learning objective and mechanism through which a Learner can demonstrate learning. Completing Courses will earn a Learner a certificate and be listed on the Learner's transcript.
Resources: Content that a Learner can revisit and review as needed. Examples include: Reentry resources, practice materials, documentaries, newsletters, facility notices, and learning activities. Completing resources will not provide a certificate but will soon be listed on a Learner's transcript.
Assessments: Used to check progress and placement for a future test or a supplement to current classroom learning
Surveys: Use a survey to easily gather information from Learners
